What is the Windows operating system experience index?

The Windows Experience Index is a metric that tells you how your computer is running Windows and can use the basic score to score the experience you get. A higher base score usually means that your computer runs faster and is more responsive than a computer with a lower base score.

"Performance Information and Tools" Windows Experience Index Each hardware in a computer has its own score, called a sub-score. The total base score for the computer is determined by the lowest individual sub-score, rather than the average score for each sub-score. You can look at the sub-scores to see how well your hardware is most concerned, which can help you decide if you want to upgrade some of your computer's hardware. Steps to view the basic score of the computer

1. Open the "Performance Information and Tools" by swiping from the right edge of the screen to the middle and clicking "Search" (if using the mouse, pointing to the screen) In the upper right corner, then move the pointer down, then click Search, enter performance information and tools in the search box, and then click or click Settings and Performance Information and Tools. 2.
