Joining a family group

Selecting what you need to share Select the permission settings you want to share and do not need to share, and the user can set it according to your needs. It is mainly used to limit sharing on content, and complete control of sharing specific permissions between network users.


Setting the necessary password Now, the system will automatically pop up a default home group password, we will write it down. Now you can use the other computers on the LAN to join the family group and enter the password that the system has assigned to the family group.


Creating a Waiting Process


After joining the family group and setting up the files that need to be shared, click Next. Win8 will establish password protection for the user, the security process, the computer will read the processing, it may take a few minutes for the user. Once this is done, we can directly click on “Family Group” in the left column of the File Explorer, so that we can view the files shared by the family members.
