Many families' computers are used by the whole family. Sometimes parents want to know if their children are using the computer secretly. You can find out by checking the computer operation record. Let's take a look at how this works in Win8.1.

Steps

The first step is to move the mouse to the lower right corner of the screen and then the start screen thumbnail appears. Right click the mouse and select “Event Viewer” from the menu.

Tips: Win8.1 right click on the start button, you can see this menu, the next method is the same.

The second step, in the event viewer interface, open the Windows log in the left panel, we take the computer running record as an example (if you want to view the application, click the relevant item), then click right Side panel, save “ all events as ”.

The third step, in the Save As dialog box, click on the save type, the default is .evtx, we have four choices, here select the txt format, give the file a name, choose the save location, and then click Save and close the event viewer.

The fourth step, open the file save location, we can see the text file we exported, double-click to open, we will see all the computer operation records since the system installation!

Of course, there are third-party software on the Internet that only look at computer work records, such as MainicTime, and it is also very convenient to get computer operation records.
