Modify the registry to add the number of rows for the Win8 system Metro desktop magnetic posts

If your resolution reaches 1920 X 1200, and you think the default tile shows too few rows, you can display more tile rows by the following method.

Operation steps

Win+R opens and runs regedit to open the registry and locate the address HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionImmersiveShellGrid.

Create a new DWORD (32-bit), rename it to Layout_Maximumrowcount, and enter the number of lines of the tile you need to modify in the numeric data. The small image below changes the number of tiles to 3.

After modifying the registry and saving it, log out and log back in or restart the computer to see the effect.

Remarks
