How to solve various problems in the process of installing Windows 8.1?

My machine is 6G memory, 500G hard disk, the original system is Windows 7, now I want to change to Windows 8.1, so I downloaded the 64-bit Windows 8.1 ISO image file, open it with DaemonTools, if you open it directly, click setup.exe Then only install a system on your current system, that is, dual system, you can not uninstall the current system (think of it, you can install the new system in the current system environment, if the existing system is uninstalled, The new system will not be installed.) This is not what I want. Think about it or make a USB flash drive and install it.

1. U disk boot disk with UltraISO

The method is very simple: plug in the U disk (pre-formatted), then open the Windows 8.1 ISO image file in UltraISO, select “ Start the disc — write to the hard disk image & rdquo; A picture is enough to illustrate.

Then I waited, the speed of this writing is related to your system and U disk, anyway, I wrote about ten minutes to write.

2. In the BIOS, change the first order of Boot boot items to U disk boot

After booting the disk, you can follow the system. First, you need to modify the first boot entry in the BIOS. For the U disk. Then restart and start the installation process. However, my process is quite tangled. The following are the problems I encountered during the installation process (I installed the 64-bit English version of the system), it took a long time to resolve, so recorded for reference.

Problem 1: Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI system, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks.
