Teach you to modify the Windows 8 system to safely remove the USB device and turn off the USB power

  

If you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8, you will find that the USB device's indicator light is still on after the USB device is safely removed. This will confuse us: Is there a safe removal of the USB device? The main reason for this is that the default setting for Windows 7 is to keep the connection and power the USB device after the USB device is removed. To solve this problem, please refer to the steps below.

Turn off the USB power after safely removing the USB device:

Open the run window with Win+R shortcut and type regedit to open the registry.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesusbhub

Then click Edit ——New ——,

Name the newly created item HubG and create a DWORD (32-bit) value for the item. The value is called DisableOnSoftRemove,

Right-click the value, select Modify,

Change the value data to 1, then OK,

Now after you safely remove the USB device, The indicator of the USB device will turn off.
