How to open shared printer

  

Method: first press the Windows + X combination shortcut to open the control panel and select "Network and Internet"; then select “Network and Sharing Center ;select the left side&ldquo ; Change advanced sharing settings & rdquo; as shown below:

Finally select “ enable file and printer sharing & rdquo; then click “ save changes & rdquo; to open Win8 shared printer function.

After turning on the Win8 print sharing function, if there is a printer installed on the Win8 computer, then we can find it, right click on it, and then select “property<;check the box"share” The method is the same as the previous Windows XP system shared printer. Win8 Add Shared Printer Method

1. Open “Control Panel”, select “View Device and Printer", see below

2. Select &ldquo Advanced printer settings & rdquo;, as shown below:

3, search for connected printers, click “ I need the printer is not in the list, " next ", as shown below :

4, select "Add a local printer or network printer by manual setting", click the "Next" button, as shown below:

5, select “ use existing Port", select the default is LPT1 port, click the "Next" button, as shown below:

6, select the printer "manufacturer" and "printer model", click & ldquo; One step & rdquo; button, as shown below:

7, select “ replace the current driver & rdquo;, click & ldquo; next & rdquo; button, as shown below:

8, enter “ Printer name & rdquo;, click “ next ”, as shown below:

9, choose whether to share the printer, click “ next & rdquo;, as shown below:

10, click & ldquo; print test page & rdquo; button, print test To install the print driver is normal, click the “Complete” button, as shown below:
