Win8 system jailbreak tutorial

mention "Jailbreak", in addition to thinking of that classic American drama, I think of Apple's iOS system jailbreak. However, as a latecomer, Microsoft's Windows 8 is also designed as a closed system. If you don't want to install the app from the Windows Store, you can use the following method to jailbreak Windows8.

After a period of exploration, I found out the way Windows 8 is jailbroken. The idea is still the "Side-loading" mentioned earlier. The translation is "by sideloading", Windows and Windows Server 2012. Both provide sideloading, which means installing Apps directly on your computer without going through the Windows Store. Microsoft gives the sideloading conditions as follows:

1. When adding a side-loaded LOB Windows-based runtime application to a Windows image:

• must be enabled <; Trusted Apps > Group Policy settings.

2. Before you can run the LOB-based Windows Runtime application:

•You must activate a sideloaded product key or add your computer to an Active Directory domain. The domain must have the "Allow all trusted applications to be installed" group policy setting enabled.

You can enable sideloading on Windows 8 Enterprise or Windows Server 2012 by adding your computer to a domain. To enable sideloading on any other version of Windows or on a Windows 8 Enterprise computer that is not joined to a domain, you must use a sideloaded product activation key.

The idea of jailbreak is nothing more than a breakthrough from these two places. From Key, the news from the Windows Community is that Microsoft has not yet made plans for Key, so personally, there is no way to break through. Then, there is only a domain to start, you can crack the Windows Store Service, so that the system thinks that the computer has joined the domain, thus installing any Apps without restrictions.

Before you jailbreak, you need to:

1. Set up Group Policy to allow trusted applications to modify the following registration settings: 1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwarePoliciesMicrosoftWindowsAppxAllowAllTrustedApps = 1

2 Get a third-party app.

You can also try to package upload sharing yourself. After all, people are more powerful, but you must pay attention to copyright issues.

Then you can run jailbreak software to jailbreak now. After the jailbreak, the system will have an additional "Windows 8 Jailbreak" service, please do not stop the service. At the same time, it also provides an uninstall feature that can be restored to a state that is not jailbroken.

Then you can install the Apps without having to "develop a developer license" and run it in Powershell (run as administrator):

1.Add-AppxPackage X:XXXXXX.appx

In general, jailbreaks are good and bad, and the benefits are obvious. You can install various applications without going through the Windows Store. Of course, after the jailbreak, the applications you installed cannot be synced to the Microsoft account, and can be installed again on other Windows 8 devices after jailbreak.
