How to delete and not save local file browsing history under Windows 8

  
                                    

Browsing local files under Windows 8 will also result in file browsing records. Compared to Windows 7 systems, Windows 8 systems are much simpler.

Steps:

Open “Computer”, click “File” in the upper left corner, then select “Delete History” in the drop-down list, then on the right Select “address bar history” in the menu, as shown:

There will be no previous history in the drop-down list,

If you don't want the browsing history to be generated , still need to go to the registry to disable permissions;

As shown in the

Ctrl+F in the registry, enter "ldd;; TypedPaths" in the search box, search, may need to search Twice, of course, you can also find one by one; HKEY_CURRENT_USER”—“Software”—“Microsoft”—“Windows”—“ CurrentVersion”—“ Explorer”—“ TypedPaths”
