How to create a system image with Win8

Win8 creates a system image as follows:

A system image is an exact copy of a drive. By default, the system image contains the drives required for Windows to run. It also contains Windows and system settings, programs, and files. If your hard disk or computer does not work, you can use a system image to restore the contents of your computer. When you restore your computer from a system image, a full restore is taken. Individual items cannot be selected for restore, and all current programs, system settings, and files will be replaced by the corresponding content in the system image.

Operation steps:

1. Win+x chooses to open the control panel.

2. In the control panel, the large icon shows the selection "Windows7 File Recovery".

3. Select "Create System Image" on the left side.

First, the hard disk backup steps:

4, hard disk backup, it is best to backup in the mobile hard disk, to avoid the hard disk failure and loss of backup.

5. Select the target disk to be backed up and click Next.

6, the system disk is the default choice, other drives that need to be backed up can choose.

7. After clicking, click “Next”Click “Start Backup”

Second, select the CD-ROM backup, prepare a number of DVD blank discs, the cumulative capacity is not less than the backup disk space capacity, the operation process is basically the same as the above steps.

Third, network backup.

8, network backup input network storage path and login account password.

9. After typing correctly, click “OK"" and click “Next”.

10, the following steps are the same as the previous disk backup steps 6, 7.

After the system image is completed, a window will pop up prompting the system to repair the CD. The system repair CD can be booted from the CD when the system fails to boot. The CD-ROM contains the Windows system recovery tool, which can Recover from a serious error or re-image the computer from the system image, about 200M in size (it is recommended to create it, you need a CD).

Click “Create Disc”Auto Create.

Note:

FAT32 format disks do not support image backup and storage images. The backed up data cannot be securely protected on local disks or network targets.
