How to check if the hardware driver in Windows 8 is installed properly

The hardware driver in Windows 8 is normal. We can use Device Manager to check whether the device is installed properly.

If the icon for the unknown device is not displayed in Device Manager, your Windows 8 computer or device is currently in the normal drive state; if it does, your computer or device needs to update the driver now. There are two ways to get the driver, the quickest is through Windows Update; the other is to install the driver provided to you by your device developer. As long as your device or computer is connected to the Internet, Windows 8 will automatically download and install the driver via Windows Update. You can also manually update the Windows update to check if a driver can be updated. The specific method is as follows:

Open Control Panel, System and Security, Windows Update, click on the left to check for updates, and if there are updates available, click Install Update.

If your driver is not found in Windows Update, you can also install the driver from the CD-ROM provided to you by the hardware device developer. Insert the media provided by your hardware device developer into your computer or device and follow the instructions mentioned on the CD.
