Windows 2013 serial number modification method under Windows 8.1

  
                                    

Symptom:

The Windows 8.1 operating system was installed on the Lenovo computer. After the Office 2013 upgrade, the serial number expired, and Office 2013 was not working properly.

Solution:

Method 1:

Open Control Panel---Programs and Features---Uninstall Program---Found the installation project for Office 2013.

For example: Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013, right click to change, then the Office installation interface will pop up, select Enter “ enter product key & rdquo;, enter a new serial number, configuration is complete.

Method 2:

Using the administrator's command prompt, the Win+X key combination can be used first to quickly select “command prompt“(admin)”--- Office2013 installation directory: (default installation to the system disk)

32-bit operating system or 64-bit system installation 64-bit office2013, please enter: cd C: Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice15

64-bit system installation 32-bit office2013 Please locate this directory, please enter: cd /d "C:Program Files (x86) Microsoft OfficeOffice15

If you need to check whether multiple serial numbers are installed, use After the following command is run, the last five characters of the installed serial number will be displayed. Please enter: cscript OSPP.VBS /dstatus

To delete the unwanted serial number, please enter: (XXXXX represents the last serial number of the installed serial number Five-character) cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:XXXXX

Install the new product serial number (replace the existing key), ie install the new 25-digit serial number, please enter: cscriptospp.vbs /inpkey: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX (where XXXXX- XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX stands for 25 new serial numbers).

Finally, reopen Office 2013, when the new serial number is modified.
