Vista disk mirroring tool detailed

Relative to Northon Ghost, first of all, from the mirror size, the image generated by Vista is 6 G, and the Ghost image is about 3 G, which is half of the former. On the speed, Vista's backup and recovery process is not much different from Ghost. It takes about 3 minutes and is acceptable. However, driven by the habitual use of software and the poor resource usage, Vista's mirroring function can only be said to be a chicken. Think about it only if you don't have any backup tools available.

Introduction to Vista Complete PC Backup Tool

Everyone knows that in all previous versions of Windows operating system there is a backup tool that allows you to back up all the files on your hard drive. There is also a tool like this in Windows Vista. But slightly different, in addition to the standard backup tools, Windows Vista also includes a disk mirroring tool called "Complete PC Backup".

This tool creates an image file containing the structure and contents of the hard disk file. If you've used Northon Ghost or Acronis True Image, it's easy to understand what type of software Vista's full PC backup tool is.

Note that the backup type created by the full PC backup tool cannot be used to recover a single file - only the entire disk content can be recovered. For this reason, Microsoft recommends that even if you use a full PC backup backup, you still need to use standard backup tools in your daily operations. Another point to note is that the full PC backup and recovery tool is not included in the Windows Vista Home Basic or Windows Vista Home Premium version.
