Using Win8 global search is quick and convenient

Perhaps the user who just started using Win8 will not find the search portal at the moment, because the search button in the “Start Menu” also disappears with the “Start Menu” Now we have to search, we need to slide the mouse to the lower right corner of the screen and then lift it up, then find the search button on the Charm Bar.
The search key is located in Charm Bar

or you can find the search using the combination of “Windows+X”, which can be found on the function menu that opens. Although it is opened in the desktop state, it will still jump to the Metro state for search operations.
You can also search in the function menu

Now we will introduce the global search of Win8. The so-called global can search all the contents of the computer, which not only contains the original files and programs, but also Ability to search for settings and more.

When you type in the search box, we will find that you can switch between the "application”,“set>set> and “file” tags to switch to the specified label. Can search within the corresponding range.
Search is divided into files, settings, and applications.

The most important thing about global search is that you can search the internal content of the application in the corresponding application. This is rather vague, let's take an example. For example, if we want to search for “QQ”, after typing “QQ” in the input box, we can also display the number of files in the “Apps”, “Settings” & “Settings” and “Files” file. Click the app icon below. Click “App Store” is to search for the keyword QQ app in the app store, click “news” to search for news related to QQ.

If we don't want to be able to search across all apps, we can turn it off. Go to “Change PC Settings" and switch to the “Search” tab and close those apps that you don't want to appear in the search list.
You can close the list of searched apps
