Win8 search for wireless signal solutions

  
                                    

Recently, the Win8 Chinese version system was pre-installed for friends. The wireless device driver is normal, but the search signal is not found. Flight mode is confirmed to be off. As shown below:

Cause analysis:

In the Win8 system settings, the control of the wireless network card has been added, and it needs to be enabled to connect to the wireless network.

Solution:

1. Open the charms and select “Settings”. You can use the mouse to move to the top right corner of the screen to open the charms, or you can quickly open it by pressing the keyboard <;Windows logo key"+“C” key;

2. Click “More computer settings ”--&&quoquo;Wireless"Menu;

3. Click the <quo;Wireless Settings" small slider to turn on the wireless function;

4. After the setup is complete, the network list can be found. Searched for wireless signals.

If the network list displays the following information, check if the Wireless Management Service (WLAN AutoConfig (WlanSvc) Service) is started.

WLAN AutoConfig service viewing method:

Right-click in the blank space of the taskbar to select “Task Manager 

If the display is as shown in the following figure Click on <;Details";

Click on the “Services” tab to find the WlanSvc (WLAN AutoConfig) service and check if the “Status” column is displayed “Running”. ;

If the display is “ stopped”, right-click on the service and select “Start”.

This method can start this service, but if the service is disabled or manually started, the service will not start automatically after restarting the computer. If you need this service to start automatically, you can click ““Open Service” to enter the service management interface, and refer to the following knowledge base to modify it to start automatically.

Operation steps:

1. Open the service management interface.

You can open

in three ways. (1) Right click on the desktop computer icon, select “Manage”, click “Services & Applications", click “Services&rdquo ;;

(2) Press the Windows logo key (the

logo button on the keyboard) and the R key at the same time to open the running interface, enter services, and click OK; as shown below:

(3) Press CTRL, Shift and ESC at the same time to open the task manager, click on the “Services” tab;

2. Find the WLAN AutoConfig (WlanSvc) service, if yes Manually or disabled, right-click on this service and select “Enable” (the task manager service shows “Start””.

If you want this service to run automatically after booting, right-click on the service and select "Properties", select the startup type as "Automatic", then click “Apply", click “ ”, click the “OK” button to close the settings window. This will restart the computer and the service will run automatically.
