Since the permissions of a folder or file on a Windows system are inherited by default, the permissions settings applied to a folder are also inherited by the subfolders and their files.

So to achieve batch permission modification, users can put the folders and files that need to modify permissions in a new folder, the modified permissions will be all subfolders and the files they contain. application. After the modification is completed, you can move the folders and files to the original storage path.

Operation steps:

1. Click the folder whose permissions you want to modify, click “Share” on the tab, and click “Advanced Security”.

2. Click on "Permissions", click “Enable Inheritance”.

3. Click on “Select Subject”.

4. Enter the user or group name for which you want to set permissions.

5. Select Apply this folder, subfolders and files to set the required permissions.

6. Click “OK” to complete the setup.
