Win 8 hard drive no solution for install.wim file

The problem is as follows:

The official version of win8 is not as hard as Windows 7 installed, because there is no install.wim file in ISO,

but install.esd file. Installation is not convenient?

The solution is as follows:

1) Enter the PE, format the C drive, put the boot folder, sources folder, efi folder in the WIN8 directory, Bootmgr is copied to the root directory of the C drive. Then exit and restart the computer. You can boot the installation with WIN8. Note that it is up to the installation partition, installed in the C drive, can not be formatted again!!

Extract the installation file to the root directory of the non-system disk.

2) into the PE, format an empty disk (if the drive letter is M), the

boot folder, sources folder, efi folder, bootmgr in the WIN8 directory Copy it to the M drive. Then modify the M disk as the first boot disk of the disk, that is, set the M disk as the active partition. Restart the computer to enter the normal installation mode.

The main points of the above two methods: copy the

boot folder, sources folder, efi folder, bootmgr in the WIN8 directory to an empty disk, and set the disk to The active partition, which is the first boot disk of the disk. Restart the computer to enter the normal installation mode.

3) Use NT6.
