Play with Win8's stunt resource manager plus multi-tag

With the official launch of Win8 RTM, there is a speculation about the resource manager, and there is no Metro! Only Ribbon! Of course, today, we naturally I can't expect Microsoft to develop a Metro version of the file manager for you. After all, it has become a third-party software, but your Ribbon interface should not be a problem! Unfortunately, after going through the layer test. Microsoft still missed a big problem —— did not add multiple tags. Of course, there are many reasons why you don't welcome multi-labels, but there are always people who need it. So, we can only make their own way, through some good software, make up for Microsoft's "negligence"!!

Strictly speaking , through the third-party software to increase system functions, should not be included in the Win8 skills article. However, the author believes that, in view of the fact that the problem is closely related to the majority of users, and the installation and use of the software is very simple, it can be compared with Win8 & ldquo; original & rdquo; so the introduction of the ride, I believe everyone can understand.

The software name Clover is a small guy with a volume of 2.64 MB. Needless to say, the installation process can be done according to the screen prompts. When the installation is over, our multi-labels are installed.

After installation, Clover can be completely integrated with Win8, so there is no need to regard it as a separate program, and the usage habit is completely in line with the public. Tastes, such as the classic double-click to close the current tab, drag and drop to adjust the label position, right-click to bring up the label menu, etc., can be used directly here.

1. Locking the label

The label is open too much, and I am afraid that it will be turned off by mistake. The solution is also very simple. Right click on the current tab and select “Fixed tab”.

2. Labeling one button off

Owning a lot of labels, it is very troublesome to have a lot of labels. Try right-clicking on the tab. Here you can close the current tab (double-click also), close other tabs (only keep the current one), close the tab on the right (it doesn't seem to close the left side), of course the well-known Ctrl+Shift +W (close all tags) is also available for direct use.

3. Quick access bar

Everyone has one or two directories that need to be opened every day. It is very troublesome to find them in the directory tree every time. . In fact, one of the most straightforward methods is to drag them to the shortcut access bar below the tab bar, and even support dragging files directly here.

If you don't like the shortcut bar, or feel it takes up screen space, you can also right click to close it, and then open it with the shortcut key Ctrl+Shift+B.

4. Aeroshake? No problem

Adding multiple tags does not mean giving the classic Aeroshake (the window dragging half screen to maximize), if you need, you can use the mouse at any time. A label is dragged out and then passed to the window by AeroShake. Even moving the label back and forth between windows is never a problem.

5. Current position new open label

Sometimes you may need to open the current window one more time. The traditional method is to re-start through the resource manager. Position it again, and Clover simplifies to right-click to execute the "Copy" command.

The author's message: language barrier is the most taboo when many users look for third-party software, and Clover is exactly English software. But rest assured! If you are using Win8 RTM Simplified Chinese version, then the software will be automatically displayed in Chinese after installation, there is no half English word.
