ASUS a40jc installed windows8 64-bit system

I bought this a40jc a few years ago. I haven't installed the system for a long time. It is mainly loaded with a lot of things, especially the oracle. The configuration is very troublesome before the installation. The project usage will be used after a while, so it has been No reloading. Recently bought a solid state drive, and bought a second-hand memory from a friend (2 4g, he bought 2 8g). Decided to install a 64-bit windows 8 to play. The result has been installed several times and has problems. Mainly after installing the system, install the nvidia graphics card driver, after installing the driver to restart, you can not enter the system. Later, I found that after installing win8, if it is turned off and then started, there is no problem. As long as the system is restarted directly, the system cannot be entered. Depressed for a long time, and installed a 64-bit win7, is the same problem. Later, my colleague told me that I need to start UEFI BOOT in bios. This item should be enabled by default, but my book is not started. UEFI was launched today, and the installation was successful. There is no problem with the reboot. UEFI, the full name "Unified Extensible Firmware Interface", is a standard that describes the new type of interface in detail. This interface is used by the operating system to automatically load from a pre-booted operating environment to an operating system, which makes the booting process simple and saves time. UEFI will provide an explicit interface specification between the operating system and the software platform that is fixed in hardware when booting, and also supports a computer-independent device for initializing the card. UEFI Boot function, which allows you to install the system to the GPT partition: 1.
