Windows Blue has developed more than half of the first milestone version to complete

Microsoft Windows Blue operating system is under intense development, ZDNet today quoted anonymous sources as saying that Microsoft's Windows team has just completed Windows Blue's first "milestone version" ; (M1) development.

According to the source, M1 marks that half of Windows Blue development work has been done, and the final Windows Blue "milestone version" will be M2.

In view of the leaked final shipment date may be August this year, ZDNet speculates that Microsoft will not launch Windows Blue Developer Preview or Consumer Preview, but instead directly launches “Milestone Version”.

Yesterday the Russian media exposed the Windows Blue desktop screenshot. From the picture point of view, the operating system retains the Metro style of Windows 8, and the Windows 7 glass effects seem to return to Windows Blue.

The Windows Blue version number for this exposure is Build 9289.

Previously, Microsoft's recruitment information showed that Windows Blue will not only be applied to the desktop, but will also be brought to the mobile phone. In a job description for the Office team looking for a senior software development lead, Microsoft said the applicant will “help Microsoft achieve its vision and build a Windows Phone Blue high-quality form application”.
