Use a virtual drive software to extract 64-bit installation files to a hard disk such as f:x64


Copy F:X64boot directory to C:


F:X64bootmgr file to C:


Then in the C: new directory sources copy the F:X64sourcesboot.wim file to this directory.


Find a 32-bit bootsect.exe and put it in c:. Execute c:bootsect /nt60 under the CMD command c:


bootsect.exe is used to configure the boot environment, which is the boot menu. If you are not assured, you can replace it with the 64-bit bootsect.exe in the boot folder after executing the command.


1. The serial number is definitely needed. After restarting, Windows Setup will appear, and the next step will be selected.


2. After the installation interface appears, click Next>Repair your computer>Next>Click Command Prompt


3, run format c: /fs ntfs /q grid c drive, or


4, enter the command " c: " (assuming the original XP installed C drive)

del bootsect.exe
