1. Click Start - Control Panel - View Devices and Printers.

2. Find the icon for the printer you installed, right click and click on Printer Properties.

3. Select the port, click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port and click on the new port.

4. Select Next in the pop-up window.

5. Enter the IP address of your print server and click Next.

6. Select Custom and click the Settings button.

The protocol selects LPR, the queue name is lp1, and check the LPR byte count is enabled and click OK.

7. Click the Finish button to complete the configuration.

8. Click the Apply button and select Close to share the printer with the print server. (Must click Apply before they can take effect)
