Problems that must be paid attention to when reinstalling the system and details

If you don't install the system, then you can't keep up with the times. But you know that installing the system may not know some important details of the installed system. It is worth noting that the system is installed. Let's take a look at it

One: Sound card driver

Now many Computers
all use the integrated sound card of the AC97 specification. However, some motherboard drivers do not work well enough, you need to manually install the sound card driver. Many friends do not know which one to install on the CD (even ^_^), then you can right click on my computer
— attribute — hardware & mdash; device manager & mdash; sound, video And the game device, select the update driver: from the list or the specified range, the range of choice is: CD-ROM, then specify the dirver & mdash; sound folder on the CD, so that the success rate and correctness of the automatic search driver installation is higher.

2: Graphics driver

After the graphics card driver is installed, the refresh rate of the monitor is not adjusted, so that the monitor works at the default refresh rate of 60HZ (usually the computer will automatically adjust after restarting).

Long-term use can cause dizziness, sore eyes, and decreased vision. Therefore, please don't forget to adjust the refresh rate of the monitor after installing the graphics card driver. Generally, the 15-inch CRT is adjusted to 800X600 75~85HZ, 17-inch CRT1024X768 75~85HZ, and the LCD monitor is normal for me to 1024X768. When the display is adjusted above 75HZ, the eye is almost unaware that the display is flickering. However, please do not arbitrarily adjust the display refresh rate to above 85HZ, if your monitor performance is normal, it is easy to burn the picture tube. Therefore, it is best to install the monitor driver again. If it is an LCD display, do not exceed 75HZ. Because the LCD and CRT are imaged differently, the CRT does not refresh the picture to make the display appear, and the LCD can change the illuminating particles to make the picture in the display move. The refresh rate has no effect on the LCD display, and it does not cause fatigue.

Three: Check if the computer hardware
is installed correctly

Check if the hardware driver of the computer is all installed, or if it is installed correctly, you can right click on my computer — attribute &mdash Hardware — Device Manager, look at the computer's hardware is all installed in place, if there is a problem with the device, then there will be a yellow question mark or exclamation mark in front of the device.

Four: Do not rush to connect the computer to the network after reinstalling OS

Do not connect the computer to the network immediately after installation of the operating system and hardware driver. FTTB users should be able to unplug the FTTB cable when reinstalling the system
, because the FTTB does not require dial-up software to allow the computer to automatically connect to the network, which will cause the newly installed system to re-infect the virus. . This reinstalled system will be completely abandoned! Therefore, after reinstalling the operating system, please install the firewall and anti-virus software, then let the computer connect to the network. Once the computer is connected to the network, immediately upgrade the firewall and anti-virus software, download The latest virus database files make your newly installed operating system protected. XP, 2000 users, please do not open the IE browser when the anti-virus software is not upgraded, this will infect both the shock wave and the shock wave. You certainly don't want the computer to just install the system and the boring system automatically shuts down. Time-keeping dialog box~ Ha ha~

Five: System infection virus

If the system is infected with a virus, it is best not to format the C drive, because the virus may exist in other partitions of the hard disk. If this is the case, you only format the C drive and install the operating system. The new system in the C drive is likely to be infected again by the virus in other partitions of the hard disk, causing the system to crash again. (I have encountered such a problem. -_-#). So if you are not sure which virus is in your computer, it is best to format it completely to ensure the security of the newly installed system. Of course, this is just my personal opinion. Whose computer will have some "important" files~ it is easy to get rid of it.

Six: Install the system time zone startup settings

1 computer boot, see prompts press DEL to enter the computer CMOS settings, according to the motherboard BIOS, generally choose to enter Advanced CMOS Features, then select The First BOOT Dirver, set to CD-ROM, then press ESC to exit, select Save & Exit Saving to save the COMS settings (F10 also). The purpose of this is to get the computer started by the CD-ROM drive. If it is the original motherboard of Intel, you should set the boot order to: CD-ROM, C, F.

2Reload the CD-ROM (I will not say the installation system, I can't remember the interface), then follow the installation prompts to complete the System Installation
.

3 install the various drivers of the computer hardware, then right click on my computer & mdash; properties & mdash; system restore, turn it off, this wastes hard disk space and system resources. If you are installing SP1 XP system, if you are not sure to upgrade SP1 to SP2, then it is best to turn off the system automatic update, otherwise there will be system activation trouble.

4 Adjust the resolution and refresh rate of the monitor. If the computer is using NVIDIA graphics card, enter the NVIDIA graphics card driver's graphics card settings, turn off the vertical sync, so that when playing the game, if your computer If the performance is good, the graphics driver will not limit your game detection, and you can choose the overclocking refresh rate. According to the resolution setting of the individual playing the game, choose the refresh rate of 75~85HZ, so that when you enter the full screen game, The refresh rate will not change to 60HZ.

5IE settings. Enter the internet option, select IE Temporary File - Settings, and pull the used disk space to 1M, because now the computer is using broadband to connect to the network, automatically update the page every time, so no need for more space to save the old Page.

6 installation of commonly used software, I do not recommend to install to the system disk, you can install according to your own preferences. Upgrade the anti-virus software, then open IE, try to check if the computer is online.

After all the software installations are correct, the ghost file of a system disk is saved in the last hard disk partition. After the system crashes, just use the ghost to restore the C disk. For dual system users, some newcomers do not know how to back up two systems. Here I recommend a software, which I use now, and also from the kuzhuai version of the pig: GHOST8.2 boot disk /one-click GHOST, it has the biggest advantage compared with the old version: fully support NTFS, not only can recognize NTFS partition And can also read and write GHO files in the NTFS partition directory, completely solve the problem that the WIN98 boot disk can not recognize the NTFS partition, this is another milestone of Symantec's landmark since the first support of FAT32 by GHOST5.1f .

If you can master these details and the details of installing the computer, then you should be able to reinstall the computer system without problems!
