How to solve the problem of garbled Windows XP system

I don't know which operation it took. Computer
always displays garbled characters when installing files (or which bird country characters?) and such characters appear in the folder view options. Security guards can't find the problem, don't know how to solve it?

There are 4 types of Chinese garbled characters:

Text garbled: YesWindows
The system displays garbled characters, such as menus, desktops, and prompt boxes. This is caused by improper setting of the font part in the registry;

Document garbled: It is garbled in various applications and games where Chinese is originally displayed. The reason for this garbled formation is more complicated. There is a garbled reason for the first type. It may also be caused by the Chinese dynamic link library used in the software being overwritten by the English dynamic link library.

File garbled: mainly Mail garbled;

Webpage garbled: It is caused by the fact that Hong Kong and Taiwan's Traditional Chinese Big Five (BIG5) and Mainland Chinese Simplified Chinese (GB2312) are not common.

System garbled elimination method

This kind of garbled code is caused by the abnormal configuration of the font part in the Windows registry, even if you use the internal code translation software to process it will not eliminate this. Class garbled. then what should we do?

Method 1: Find a machine that is the same as your Windows version and displays normal. Follow these steps:

Select “Start”→“Run on the normal machine ”, type “regedit” in the dialog box to open the registry editor;

Please position the cursor to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE systemCurrentControlSetControl Fontassoc", and then select “Registry”→“ Export the registry file ”, then select “ branch & rdquo;, export the branch registry information to a file (such as ZT.REG);

Copy the ZT.REG file to your machine that displays garbled characters On, the method is: run “regedit” on the machine displaying garbled characters, open the registry editor, select “registration”→“import registration registry”, import ZT.REG file into the registry Just fine.

Method 2: If you can't find a machine that is the same as your Windows version and displays normal, you need to manually restore the registry part of the font part. The steps are:

First On the machine displaying garbled characters, select “Start”→“Run", type “regedit” in the dialog box to open the registry editor;

select “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystem CurrentControlSetControlFontassoc”, normal In the case, there will be two folders, Associated DeaultFonts and Associated CharSet. The correct content should be:

Chinese Win98

Chinese Win98(OEM version)

Chinese Win2000

Associated CharSet

ANSI(00)=“yes”

GB2312(86)=“yes”

DEN(FF)=&ldquo ;yes”

SYMBOL(02)=“no”

ANSI(00)=“yes”

GB2312(86)=“yes”

OEM(FF)=“yes”

SYMBOL(02)=“no”

ANSI(00)=“yes”

OEM (FF)=“yes”

SYMBOL(02)=“no”

Assoc Iated DefaultFonts

AssocSystemFont=“simsun.ttf”

FontPackageDecorative=“宋体”

FontPackageDontcare=“宋体”

FontPackageModern= “宋体”

FontPackageRoman=“宋体”

FontPackageScript=“宋体”

FontPackageSwiss=“宋体” or AssocSystemFont=“simsun .ttf”

FontPackage=“New Song"

FontPackageDecorative=“New Song Dynasty&##>PopsetPackageDontcare=“New Song Body”

FontPackageModern=“New Song Dynasty

FontPackageRoman=“New Song Dynasty

FontPackageScript=“New Song Body”

FontPackageSwiss=“New Song Body&rdquo ;

When the Chinese characters are garbled, the contents of the above two folders will be incomplete, some of them have no Associated CharSet folder or the contents are incomplete; some of the contents under Associated DefaulFonts are incomplete. What should I do if I encounter this situation? In fact, just open the registry editor and restore it according to the above correct content under “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetControlFonassoc”.

Application, game garbled elimination method

It is Chinese software, but the display interface is garbled. This may be because the information about the font settings in the registry is incorrectly changed. The result is generally caused by the Chinese link library of the software being overwritten by the English link library. This phenomenon often occurs in Chinese software developed by Microsoft development tools such as VB and VC. In this type of software, the Chinese characters on the display interface such as menus are controlled by a dynamic link library ".DLL file", and the dynamic link library of the software is generally installed in the System directory of Win 98/2000. If you install an English software in the future and also use the dynamic link library with the same name, the dynamic link library of the English software will overwrite the dynamic link library of the Chinese software under your original Windows System. In this way, when you run the Chinese software, the English dynamic link library will be called, so there is garbled. The solution is to reinstall the Chinese software and restore the Chinese dynamic link library.

Method 3:

Open “Control Panel> Find "Regional and Language Options”.

After opening, it may be the language and regional location of another country.

Next click on the "small triangle" identified by the red box; select “中文(中国)”.

Then click on “Location” below “Small Triangle” Also selected as “China”.

After the selection is completed, press “OK” as shown in the figure.

Tip

The area and language must be consistent to take effect, and finally restart the computer.
