Win7 USB interface cannot be used. Drive error The device does not start. (Code 10) Fault

The notebook system is Windows
7. The USB interface suddenly has one that can't be used. It started to be a driver problem, but it uses several driver software (driver, driver, etc.) The update driver can't be solved. Later, I found that there is always a problem with the device driver in the device manager. After the uninstall, I try to reload it automatically, and then it can be used, but it is useless after a reboot.

Then suddenly reminded me of the "electrophoresis" on the hub port, I suspected that it might be a hardware failure, and opened the device manager to see "The device could not be started." (Code 10) & rdquo; prompts, and then checked, I really found the cause of the problem.

It turned out that there was a previous operation, "Anguo Alcor U disk production tool". The production tool comes with a Mpfilt.sys driver file that modifies registry-related values by default, making it the underlying USB driver. Because Vista and win7 x64 are not compatible with this driver, this driver will not be loaded when the system starts up, causing the normal USB driver of Windows to fail to load.

Workaround:
– Delete the mpfilt.sys file in the /Windows/syswow64/drivers directory; – Search mpfilt.sys in the registry and search for mpfilt;&ndash ; Delete the following related item value: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Services\\mpfilt, this item will also be reproduced in controlset002/control003, etc.; – delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\Class\\{36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056 -444553540000} Item value: Lowerfilters;– Find related items in related ControlSet002/ControlSet003 at the same time, delete the same value; – Restart, find new hardware, automatically install driver, restore normal
