Win8 system how to set the positioning function

  

Windows
8 positioning service does not provide orientation, height, speed, address and other data. When you need to use the positioning function, you need to display the prompt user, you can open or close the positioning service in the control panel.

Operating Procedures

Use the combined hotkeys “Win+X” to bring up the shortcut menu, click and open the control panel.


In the Control Panel, change the view to “large icon”. As shown below:


In the Control Panel, select “Targeting Settings” and open. As shown below:


In the Change targeting settings, check “Enable Windows Location Platform”. As shown below:


In Windows 8, if you use the positioning function (such as Maps, weather, etc.), there will be corresponding prompts. Such as: Maps, you can see the Maps icon in the Metro interface of Windows 8 (if there is no such program, please refer to the knowledge number: 081443 installation)


Clicking the runtime will have the following prompt.
