Easily configure Win7 system protection and retrieve files by mistake.

  

If we accidentally modify or delete an important file in Win7 system and want to recover, we can use Win7 system protection function to restore the system to the previous restore. Point version; if you encounter a small problem with Win7 system, you can't help to restore to the previous system state, you can also use "System Restore" to restore the computer's system files and settings to an earlier time point, very convenient. Note: The Win7 system protection feature is used for NTFS file system format drives.

Operation Steps

Press the “Win+E” key combination to open the Win7 Explorer, select “Computer”, select a partition at will, right click on the E drive, select “Attributes & mdash” The previous version & rdquo;, if we see here that the display "no earlier version", indicating that the Win7 system has not yet turned on the system protection function, there is no system backup, naturally can not restore the system.


Turn on the system protection function of Win7 system, and set the system restore point. In the Win7 Explorer, select “Computer", click “System Properties”.


Select “System Protection” in the menu on the left.


Go to the “System Properties” page and select the “System Protection” page. Select the disk that you want to enable advanced backup and restore, such as G drive, single. Click the "Configure" button.


In the Restore Settings of the System Protection Data window, select “Restore only the previous version of the file>, click “OK”.


On the System Properties page, select “Create” to create a system restore point. On the “Create Restore Points page, fill in the restore point description. Here we fill in the "G disk restore", and then click "Create", after the creation is successful, click “ close & rdquo;.


Now let's look at the partition properties again, open “computer” in the Win7 Explorer, right click on the G drive, select “property", select“ The previous version & rdquo;, now we can see the restore point file created for us just by turning on the advanced backup and restore function, which saves the version information at that time.


After setting the restore point, even if we accidentally delete the file or folder in the G drive, just open "ldquo; computer", right click on the G drive, select &ldquo ;Properties", select “previous version", click “G drive>, select the previous version information that Win7 system backed up for us, click “Restore”.


The system will ask if we want to restore to the previous version, click “Restore”.
