How to display local music in the Win8 system Metro version of the music application

Display local music in the Win8 music application, want to use the Windows
8 start screen music application, but found that local music can not be found inside? This is because the music application in Windows
8 reads the files in the local music library by default, so to add local music to the music app, we need to add it to the music library.

Operation steps

Open the Explorer and find the music library, right click on the music library and select Properties, then select the folder you want to add to the music library (you can also right-click the folder you want to add directly. , select to include in the library - music).

Then use the music app to play the files in the library. When you open the music app again, you can see the files in the music library. If the files in the music library are still not displayed, then we need to check if the folders in the music library are in the index options. Open the Control Panel and find the Index option. Once opened, you can see the indexed items. If you don't see the folder you added to your music library before, just click Edit to add it.
