How to encrypt Windows 8 system disk partitions

  
 

If users who use WinXP system have important files to hide or encrypt, they usually use software or some means to do it. In Win8 system, it is easy to encrypt the entire partition disk. Users lose some important files. It is fine in the partition disk, no need for cumbersome operations.

Operation Steps

Open “Computer” Select a disk as the encryption disk. As shown in the figure, “Local Disk D” Press the right mouse button to select “Enable BitLocker”.


At this point, “BitLocker Drive Encryption” pops up. Click “Use Password to Unlock Drive”.


Enter the password that users use frequently, then press “Next”.


At this time, there are 3 choices to save the key to the "Microsoft account", "U disk" & rdquo; & ldquo; & ldquo; & ldquo;, according to user needs To choose, we choose to save to the U disk.


Click “Save to USB Drive'; a small window pops up to display the drive letter of the USB drive. Click to select, then click “Save” .


Here, select “Encrypt only used disk space> Press “Next”.


Click “Start Encryption”.


After we finish, we open “U disk” you can see that a file is the key to open the local disk D”.
