How to create all apps on the Metro desktop in Windows 8 traditional desktop

Open all apps in Windows
8, right click on the start screen blank and select all apps. If you open all apps under the traditional desktop, you also need to switch to the start screen first. In fact, we can create a shortcut to all the apps, which makes it easy for us to open all apps.

Operation steps

▲ First right click on the desktop and select New shortcut.

▲ Fill in the value of the typed object “C:\\Windows\\explorer.exe shell:::{2559a1f8-21d7-11d4-bdaf-00c04f60b9f0}” Includes double quotes.

▲ Click Next and name the shortcut.

▲ Once you click Finish, you can create shortcuts for all your apps. Of course you can change the icon of the shortcut by changing the icon.

In addition to placing shortcuts on your desktop, you can also pin them to the taskbar or the start screen. Clicking on the shortcut will display all apps, but a little inconvenient is that a search will appear.
