Windows8 system can not shut down the problem solution

The Microsoft system will always have problems like this for a long time, Win8
is no exception! Recently I have encountered a situation where I can't shut down. Click on the system shutdown button, I thought the system is off, in fact, you see the main box fan and so on are still operating, not completely shut down. In this case we can solve the problem by the following methods.

The computer cannot be completely shut down and requires us to make some configuration changes in the system.

1. Right-click in the blank space and click on the bottom right corner “All apps”. Then open “Control Panel" in “Start”.

2. Click “System and Security" in the Control Panel menu.

3. Under <;Power Options", click “Change the function of the power button”.

4. Uncheck the "Enable Quick Launch (Recommended)" option.

5. Click “Save Changes” .
