How to change the startup sequence of WinXP and Windows7 dual system

  
 

There are a lot of friends who want to try the Windows
7
system, but don’t want to give up the original Windows XP, so installing dual systems is now a choice for many people. But the dual system is a bit troublesome, it is the system boot sequence problem, if you are WindowsXP installed Windows7 system installation is completed, Windows7 system will automatically set to the default startup. To get back to the original Windows XP system, you need to set up the Windows 7 system to selectively boot the system.

Operation steps

1. After entering the Windows7 system, right-click on the computer and select ““Attributes” in the pop-up menu.


2, go to the "System" option, then click on the left side of the "Advanced System Settings", pop-up "System Properties" dialog box, then click “ Advanced & rdquo; tab, in the "Startup and Recovery" group click "Settings".

” The drop-down list of items, there are two startup items "earlier version of Windows" and "Windows7", I chose "earlier version of Windows".


4, the default display "Windows Startup Manager" time is 30 seconds, if you think it is too long, check "“ when the recovery option is displayed when needed", Change the time to 10 seconds. Click “OK> Back to “System Properties” dialog box, then click "OK", click the close button in the upper right corner to exit the settings. Restart after completion, the default option is the earlier version of Windows.


Tip: The system startup sequence is invalid in the previous version of Windows. You must log in to Windows7 and make changes in the Windows 7 system to take effect.
