Win10 14393.479 cumulative update patch KB3201845 DHCP service can not be used after the upgrade

On the eve of the 2016 patch last Tuesday, Microsoft released the cumulative update KB3201845 to the desktop Windows 10 anniversary update user, which was upgraded to 14393.479 after the upgrade. Later, some users reported that the upgrade caused the DHCP service to be unable to use the IP address and could not obtain the IP address. However, this problem was fixed in the cumulative update KB3206632 (Build 14393.576) released recently. The update log reads: "Repair the CDPSVC service." A crash has caused some devices to fail to obtain an IP address. <quo;

DHCP is a network protocol that allows network devices to send broadcasts to a DHCP server. If the service exists (such as a router), it will feed back an IP address that allows the computer to access the network. If the service is compromised or behaves abnormally, the consumer will not be able to access the network or local resources, and the user has experienced this problem after upgrading to 14393.479.

If you haven't upgraded to a new system, the following commands will help you solve the problem. Press Win + R to open the run command line, type "cmd.exe", and press Enter. Enter the following command on the pop-up page

netsh winsock reset catalog

netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log

If the above fix does not work, users are advised to try to update their PC. IP address. You can enter the following command in the command window:

ipconfig/renew
