How to replace the drawing with Paint 3D in the Win10 Creator Update Preview?

Microsoft built 3D technology in the latest Win10 Creators update, of which Paint 3D is the key UWP 3D application. However, this is also a double-edged sword. "Paint 3D" has also replaced the classic "painting" program, and many people have begun to miss the original "painting".

Fortunately, Microsoft still retains some vulnerabilities that allow us to retrieve classic "painting" applications.

The easiest way to get back to the classic drawing program is to remove Paint 3D, so the classic "painting" is not completely removed, but "Paint 3D" is hidden after it appears. (However, if you are upgrading users directly, the original classic "painting" shortcut will still be retained.)

The second method is to create a new registry key, as follows:

In the search box, type regedit.exe is entered to open the registry.

Enter HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Applets\\Paint\\Settings directly in the registry address bar. The default Paint key should already exist on the PC, but if it can't be created. .

Set the sub-option key and create a new Dword named DisableModernPaintBootstrap.

Set the key value to 1.

After the setup is complete, close the Registry Editor. After clicking on the drawing or Paint, the Paint.exe classic "painting" program will be loaded directly. Do you like the classic "Painting" or the latest "Paint 3D"?
