Win10 Mobile Creators Preview 14959 Update Fixes and Known Issues Summary

  

On November 4th, Microsoft launched the Win10 Mobile/PC Creators Quick Preview 14959 this morning. This is the first preview update since the New York conference. The small editor has compiled the official update blog from Microsoft. Updated the 14959 update log for Win10 Mobile Creators.

Update Content

The Mobile UUP (Unified Update Platform) software update platform is officially launched.

Repair content

• Update the data usage interface, UI changes, performance improvements.

• Fixed an issue where users couldn’t add cards to the wallet app and couldn’t use click-to-pay.

• Fixed an issue where users could close the Start Menu page on the multitasking interface.

• Fixed an issue where some of the options for the default dialing application disappeared.

• Fixed a problem where some media playback apps stopped running when power save mode was on.

• Fixed an issue where the copy and paste function of the phone failed in some cases.

• Fixed a problem with the system suspended in the VPN option when deselecting "Let the app automatically use the VPN connection".

Known Issues

• Please do not use the modified system date to upgrade to the latest version. The MSA on your device needs to expire to receive the latest preview version, otherwise you may need Reset your phone to fix the problem.

• This version of the system cannot install additional language packs, keyboards, and voice packs. If your device has some language packs installed before the upgrade, it will remain after the upgrade and you want to install additional languages. Packages, keyboards, and voice packages, you can roll back to the previous version through Windows Device Recovery Tool, then install the appropriate language pack, keyboard and voice package, and then upgrade.
