Users will encounter some problems during the installation of some software on the windowsxp system computer. For example, when a friend installed the software, he found that the xp system would prompt “the administrator set the system policy to prohibit this installation”, which eventually prevented the software from being installed. What should I do? The following small series will tell you about the specific solution to the problem.

Solution 1:
1. Click the [Run] command in the [Start] menu window;

2. Type the [gpedit.msc] command in the Open box. Click the [OK] button;

3. In the left console tree window, navigate to [Computer Configuration & Rarr; Administrative Templates & Rarr; Windows Components & Rarr; Windows Installer];

4. Right Double-click the [Disable Windows Installer] item on the side details window;

5. Pop up the Properties window and change it to [Not Configured] or [Disabled].

Solution 2:
1. Type [regedit] command in the running dialog box, click [OK] button to open the registry editor;

2, register on the left The table tree window is located at the following branch:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\Installer\\Products\\4080110900063D11C8EF10054038389C.
Remove this entire item.

Solution 3:
1. Click the [Start] menu, click the [Control Panel] command;

2. Open [Administrative Tools] & mdash in the Control Panel. —[Local Security Policy];

3. Click [Software Restriction Policy] in the console tree window on the left. If prompted, “No Software Restriction Policy is defined”;

4. Right-click the [Software Restriction Policy] item and select the [Create New Policy] command from the menu that opens;

5. Double-click the [Force] item in the details window on the right to apply the software restriction policy to the following. The user is modified to [all users except the local administrator], and click the [OK] button.
