Win10 Mobile Preview 14926 has a solution for SIM card recognition and other issues

Microsoft today released Windows 10 PC and Mobile Preview 14926 to Fast Track Insider members. After the push, the Windows Preview Experience Program owner Dona Sarkar updated the list of known issues in her blog post:

We are investigating reports from some users. After upgrading to the 14926 version, the pin password keyboard does not come out. As a result, the phone cannot be unlocked, even if the phone is restarted. If you encounter this problem, you can reset the unresponsive phone (hard reset) by following the steps below, and then your phone can run the 14926 version:

If the phone is not responding and cannot access “Settings&rdquo ;, you can use the hardware button to reset the phone. On the Lumia phone (and some other phones), perform the following steps to reset the phone:

1. Press and hold the “Volume Down” button and the “Power” button until you feel the vibration ( About 10 to 15 seconds).

2. Release the button when you feel the vibration, then immediately press the “Volume Down” button until you see a large exclamation point.

3. After displaying the exclamation point, press the following four buttons in the following order: “Volume up volume",“low volume”,“power”,“ ”.

4, your phone will immediately reset and restart. (It may take a while to complete the reset.)

We are also investigating another report. After upgrading to the 14926 version, some phones cannot use the SIM card. A hard reset can also fix this problem. Check out this forum post for more information.
