Solution for "Access Denied" when XP system is enabled for hibernation

The xp system encountered the "Deny Access" dialog when selecting the "Hibernate" feature, as shown below:

Workaround: (operate as an administrator)
Start the menu point to run, enter cmd, then enter powercfg -h off in the command window, turn off hibernation, restart the computer, run at the menu point, type cmd, then enter powercfg -h on in the command window, re Turn on the sleep function.
can also be solved by deleting the hibernation file: hiberfil.sys:
The hibernation save file is a file called hiberfil.sys in the root directory of the C drive, and the attribute is hidden. Select Show all files in the folder options and remove the check mark from the file that is hidden by the operating system (recommended). Then delete this file and re-enable hibernation.
If you don't see this file, enter powercfg -h off in the Start = Run, or create a blank Notepad file saved as hiberfil.sys, overwrite the files in the C drive, and delete it.
