The Win8.1 system opens the app store and prompts after loading for a long time  we are unable to connect to the app store. This happens because of a service issue or a network connection timeout. Please wait a few minutes and try again (0x80080005). The Modern application can't be updated. The specific phenomenon is as follows:

Method 1:
1.Windows+R Enter services.msc Is the Windows Store Service service open?
2, Windows + X command prompt (administrator) run powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\\WinStore\\AppxManifest.xml
Method 2: Please try using SFC /scannow System scanning and recovery.
1. Click the desktop application in the start interface, press the Windows logo key +X on the keyboard, click the command prompt (administrator), and when the user account control dialog box appears, click Yes;

2. In the Command Prompt window, type sfc /scannow, (there is a space between sfc and /scannow), and press Enter;
3, perform system scan and recovery;
