Win8 does not display image thumbnail solution

Recently, some friends have reported that they do not display thumbnails when browsing pictures in Windows 8. What is going on? In fact, if this happens, either the computer is poisoned or the related cache file is out of order.

The thumbnails displayed when browsing files are generally stored in the cache folder, but sometimes the cache file will crash, and you need to rebuild the cache file.

Rebuilding Windows 8 Thumbnail Cache Method One:

1. Type "& Disk" in the search bar on the right side of the Windows 8 Metro desktop. Find Disk Cleanup. Different from Windows 7 system (requires right click C drive - Properties - Disk Cleanup).

2, what you need to do now is to check the "Thumbnails" item in the "Delete Files" column. Then, select “OK”.

Rebuild Windows 8 thumbnail method two:

1, enter the following address in the address bar, press Enter.

%USERPROFILE%\\AppData\\Local\\microsoft\\Windows\\Explorer

2, depending on the size of the icon, the following four .db files are stored in the folder, please fill them all Delete it.

thumbcache_32.dbthumbcache_96.dbthumbcache_256.dbthumbcache_1024.db

I believe that when you clear these icons and then open the file, the thumbnails will display normally.
