Sometimes when we plug a USB mobile hard disk or USB flash drive into the computer, we will encounter “Unrecognized USB device” problem. Repeated retry does not help, but the same USB device can be displayed normally on other computers. If you encounter this problem, you can refer to the following three methods to solve.

Method 1. Disable USB Selective Pause Settings

1, Control Panel—— Power Options, click Change Plan Settings next to the currently selected power plan.

2, click to change the advanced power settings.

3, expand USB settings & mdash; USB selective pause settings, set it to “ disabled & rdquo;, OK.

Method 2, uninstall the driver, and then reconnect the external hard disk

1, open the control panel (small icon view) — device manager, find you in the disk drive list Device, right click to uninstall.

2. Unplug the USB cable and reconnect it. The driver will load automatically and it will return to normal.

Method 3, re-install the USB controller

1, open the control panel (small icon view) & mdash; device manager, expand the universal serial bus controller, right click on the device selection & ldquo ; Uninstall & rdquo;, each device repeats the above operation. When you are done, restart your computer and the system will automatically install the USB controller.
