• Navigate to the following registry location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Network Connections

• Create a new DWORD named NC_DoNotShowLocalOnlyIcon on the right side Value, double-click to change its value to 1;

• Close the registry, restart the resource manager (you may need to restart the system), then the exclamation mark on the network icon will disappear. As shown below:
