Microsoft announced: Win10 small update log details are only available to enterprise users

Why does the win10 update not provide a detailed update log? If you are already a Windows 10 user, you may have noticed that the system updates that Microsoft recently pushed have no change logs, or that there are no release notes, they are incredibly vague. Microsoft has previously said that unless it is a major update, it will not provide regular Win10 update logs and other documents.

Needless to say, many users are very disappointed with the confidentiality of these updates, Microsoft said in a recent statement that it does not intend to provide a change log for the Windows 10 updates they push. The reason is simple, because Microsoft only provides details of major updates, and cumulative updates and small patches will not receive any change logs. But it seems that this strategy will only target ordinary consumers.

This means that only users who use Win10 Enterprise Edition will get the details of each update in the future, which may not be good news for the majority of Win10 Home and Professional users, because we don't know What is installed for each update.

Corporate will get change log

Microsoft Vice President Jim Alkove said at a company press conference that the change log will be available, but only for enterprise users. This means that only those users running Windows 10 Enterprise can access these release notes, which makes sense to a certain extent, but millions of ordinary consumers may be disappointed.

There is no doubt that business users need to know every update, but the average consumer also needs it, especially because these patches bring changes in performance and built-in functionality. Enterprise users may delay installation, which is why Microsoft plans to provide them with a change log.

Windows 10 Home Edition users will be installed automatically for each update, so they will still have to receive every patch released by Microsoft, regardless of whether they can see the change log. It's just a communication problem. If Microsoft wants to work closely with ordinary consumers, they should reconsider this strategy. After all, many of the Windows 10 tests are common consumers.
