Win10 preview version 10525 64-bit Google Chrome browser can not open the page has been resolved

Google said that the current Win10 preview version of 10525 users who are using the 64-bit Google Chrome browser will encounter problems that cannot open the webpage.

A member of the Chrome development team said:

“The problem has been fixed and there is no more work to do in the future. The reason why Google values the relative & lsquo; niche & rsquo; 64-bit browser in Windows 10 Preview 10525 is because it involves third-party software that can use this issue to enter Chrome's sandbox process. In 32-bit Windows, we were forced to use a more tolerant attitude to deal with the sandbox process hook problem, and as a result we saw more problems caused by third-party software, such as AV (may be referred to as killing soft) or other programs. These programs can break ASLR, leak privileged items, or just cause overall instability, which has a high probability of causing a very serious crash in the Chrome sandbox process. ”

“We will continue to track the impact of 64-bit Chrome's stub verification issues, and we will revisit today's decisions if important conflicts are discovered in the future. But now, our crash report data supports a position of rigorous verification that provides a stable and secure experience for true end users. & rdquo;

Before, there is a solution to the 64-bit Chrome problem on the Internet, which is to temporarily ban the sandbox process. The Google Chrome team reminded the relevant users to use the Win10 preview version 10525 with caution, because the security of the Chrome browser will be seriously affected when the sandbox process is disabled.

Now these users can use the 64-bit Chrome browser as they normally would. (Source:Google)
