Just run the Windows app in three steps with the Win10 administrator account

Win10 administrator account Administrator is turned off and hidden by default, which is to prevent this high-right account from being "abuse" to affect system security. However, we sometimes need to open this account in order to complete some special tasks. However, after logging in to the Windows 10 administrator account, we found that all Windows applications could not be run. Some users even reported that the Start menu could not be opened (individual phenomenon), because Win10's start menu is also a Windows application.

The reason for this problem is that Windows application default requires user account to control UAC support (turning off UAC notification under normal account does not affect such application running), and Win10 administrator account does not open UAC. Therefore, the Windows application cannot be run by default under the Administrator account.

▲In the administrator account, the Windows application cannot be opened by default

But if you modify the following registry slightly, you can break the default blockade and run the Windows application in the administrator account. However, you need to be reminded that there is a risk in modifying the registry operation. In order to recover it in time after misoperation, please use the cleanup master of the soft media cube (click to download) to back up the registry.

The modification method is as follows:

1. After entering regedit in the Cortana search bar of the normal account, select the first item

2, and locate the following position in the registry editor. :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Policies\\System

3. Find FilterAdministratorToken on the right, double-click and change the value data to “1” and click &ldquo ;OK”

Note: If there is no FilterAdministratorToken, you need to manually click the right mouse button on the right margin, create a new DWORD (32-bit) value, and rename it to FilterAdministratorToken, and change its value data to 1.

When you log in to the administrator account, you can open the Windows application normally. If you can't use the start menu before, you should be able to open it normally.
