Win10 SR1 released next Monday (August 10th) Surprise

Microsoft released the official Win10 operating system to the world a week ago, and is currently actively preparing for its first major fix update. According to the latest news from foreign media WinSuperSite, Microsoft is currently planning to push the fix update to Windows 10 users on August 10.

Windows 10 users will continue to receive system updates in the future, with traditional routines and security patches, more continuous system improvements, sometimes simple patches, and sometimes so-called service packs. This is the embodiment of the Windows as a service concept.

According to previous news, Microsoft will soon launch the first service pack for Windows 10, called "Service Release 1" (SR1), and now there is a news that SR1 will be in August. Released on the 10th next Monday, of course, domestic users should receive it on Tuesday.

After the new system is officially released, the Windows Insider internal measurement channel will not be closed, and will continue to exist. As long as one of the tasks is to test these upgrade packages, the students who participate in this internal test project will receive the update in advance.

Windows 10 SR1 is a cumulative update package that brings some new features, but the main purpose is to fix various problems exposed after the system is released.

Later this year, Microsoft will make a major upgrade to Windows 10, adding new features such as OneDrive, Skype, and Edge browser extensions.

According to previous reports, Win10's first major fix update was named SR1 (Service Release), although it may contain some minor feature updates, but the most important one is to fix bugs. In addition, according to previous news, Microsoft is preparing to release a major update of Win10 in October this year. This update will include some new features, such as messaging applications and third-party extension support for Edge.
