Win10 official version of the app store update fix bug added support for Groove Pass

Earlier today, Microsoft updated the Windows Store. The version number is 2015.8.3.2, the previous one is 2015.7.22.2. Today's update did not bring about a particularly noticeable change. However, Richard Hay of SuperSite for Windows (@WinObs) noticed that his taskbar icon has changed. You can see it from the comparison before and after the above picture. However, it seems that not all users are like this. On the contrary, some users already have this style, which means that today's update only fixes icons for some users. The old icon uses the system theme color as the background, and the new one is a larger, pure white icon that matches the xbox and the mail.

As shown in the figure above, the new version of the icon on the right, white no background, the new version of the icon should be displayed under normal circumstances. The old icon has a rectangular background and the background color is automatically adjusted with the system theme color. Obviously, the icon error has now been fixed.

This is of course only a minor update. However, it also made some adjustments to the system. Everyone enters the store to check for updates and can get the latest version. How to check for app updates in Windows 10, watch the video below.

In addition to fixing icon bugs, the new app store has added the "Play" button to the music store. This button is only available for devices and accounts that have subscribed to the Groove Music Pass. Clicking the “Play” button will automatically jump to the "Groove Music" to play the specified track. Previously there was only a purchase option and there was no way to stream it.

win10 application store bug specific description: pattern home price and description are wrong

Specifically, the bug is not able to display the latest price and description information. If you are a developer, when you change the price and description of the app, the Win10 app store will not display the latest information and the user will not see the changes. If you are going to offer a discounted price for your app, then for Win10 users, they won't be able to see the discounted price, while Win8.1 users will not be affected.

As shown above, this is the price and description of the same app in the Win10 app store and the WP8.1 app store. It can be seen that the free application originally in WP8.1 is shown as a paid application in the Win10 app store.

Foreign media said that the above problems exist in both Win10 desktop and Win10 Mobile. For the Mobile version, this problem may be understandable because it is still in the preview test phase, but for the official version of the Win10 operating system that has been released globally, such an error is a bit serious. If you encounter this problem in the app store, it is recommended to promptly report this issue to Microsoft through Windows Update in Win10, and try to get it fixed as soon as possible.
