(Figure) Google Chrome browser sends a birthday cake to Win10 Edge browser

“Send Cakes” seems to have become the tradition of mutual encouragement and greetings between browser teams. For example, in 2012, Firefox browser developer Mozilla presented a piece of cake to Microsoft in celebration of the birth of IE10. The following year, Microsoft gave back a piece of Mozilla cake, because the day of 2013 happened to be Mozilla's 15th birthday. In addition to this, there are many other examples that are not listed one by one.

The birth of the browser. Tobin Titus, project manager of the Microsoft Edge browser team, thanked the Google Chrome team on Twitter and attached a photo of the cake. However, the person in charge deliberately joked "spit" & rdquo; about the layout of the cake text and cream flower, but also want to know what is inside the cake "what is there".

The Edge browser has been highly anticipated by Microsoft since its development last year. As the default browser of Windows 10, this browser shoulders the responsibility of inheriting and carrying forward the status of IE browser "market boss" to curb the powerful offensive of Google Chrome browser. Therefore, these companies exchanged cakes between each other. Although the surface seems to be stable and peaceful, it is actually “swords and arrogance”.

At present, the Edge browser has been born following the release of the official version of Win10, but its development work is not over yet. The Edge browser extension feature will be included in the major Win10 update that may arrive in October 2015. According to previous news, this feature can not only use the proprietary extensions, but also the Chrome browser extensions through a certain technical means "porting" to the Edge browser, so that this new browser has powerful additional features.
