Windows 10 10149 mobile preview starts pushing in slow lane

Microsoft pushed the Windows 10 Mobile Build 10149 preview system to Fast Ring users in late June. Today, after some bug fixes and stability improvements, this version of the system has also been pushed to the Slow Ring users. As can be seen from the information released by Microsoft, 10149 is a very large version of the changes and optimization, including UI, browser and Cortana assistant, etc., as follows:

- Spartan browser officially changed its name Microsoft Edge browser, please backup your browser data, including favorites, history and so on.

- System UX improvements, tiles, icons and button sliders become clearer.

- The Cortana assistant's note function is further improved.

- Added "Flashlight" to the operation center.

- A major update to the photo/image viewing tool, new support for GIF animation (only supports 1GB or more memory models).

- OneDrive supports automatic uploading of photos taken by users.

- Users can check and download app updates through the beta store, such as Outlook, Calendar, Music, Movies, TV, MSN apps and more.

According to the plan, Microsoft will officially launch Windows 10 Mobile this fall. Centralized optimization and improvement for this system will be carried out after the release of Windows 10 on the desktop.
