Win10 part of the enterprise version does not support Edge will still use IE11

A recent analyst from Gartner Inc revealed that some of the Win10 Enterprise users cannot use Microsoft's default browser Edge. The main cause of this problem is the Win10 Enterprise Edition of the LTSB branch. A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed the news.

So why is this problem with Win10 Enterprise Edition?

LTTS is an acronym for Long Term Servicing Branch, meaning a long-term service branch. It is the most free of the service branches available. The content of the update can be freely mastered, but it cannot be postponed indefinitely.

For the problematic LTSB branch of the Win10 Enterprise Edition computer, only security patches and urgent patches are currently received, and new features are not updated because the client has the need to run other applications for the application, and the update is obtained. New features have the potential to damage existing systems. Therefore, the Win10 Enterprise Edition of the LTSB branch will only have built-in old IE11 browsers. The reason given by Microsoft is that if the version is installed by default and no updates are provided, the user experience will be very bad.

It is unclear whether Win10 Enterprise will have functional cuts, but its release date has not yet been determined, unlike Windows 10 Home and Professional, which has been confirmed to be released on July 29.

But don't worry about the average user, because this issue only affects the Enterprise Edition of Win10.
